Nina Hole (1941-2016)

1961 to 1963 Nina studied at the Copenhagen Art and Craft School, from 1969 to 1972 – the Ceramic Studio, New York State, in 1977 she graduated from the Fredonia State College, USA. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, competitions and symposiums in Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Korea, Latvia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, and the USA since 1972. She was a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC).   In 1991 she was awarded a title “The Ceramist of the year” of Denmark. Her works are included in the collections of Chinese, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Korean, Norwegian, Taiwanese museums. Nina maked fire sculptures and lectured in various countries, also worked as a consultant at Ceramic Center museum in Denmark.

The artist was a participant of the symposium in 1998.
