Born in 1970. He graduated from the Hongik University in Seoul (BFA: Product Design, 1996; BFA: Ceramics, 1999). Since 1996 he has participated in exhibitions and symposiums mainly in South Korea. The artist has arranged a number of solo exhibitions. He has participated in international biennials: Cheongju International Craft Biennale, South Korea (2007); the 7th Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennale‘2013 Kids Biennale‘ organized by Korean ceramic foundation (KOCEF), Icheon, South Korea (2013). He has participated and created at artist residency program „Nomadic residency“, Chenai, India (2015).The artist has created some ceramics sculptures and installations for the public spaces such as „Toilet Competition“ KOCEF at Icheon (awarded 1st place, 2010); public art project „Military Facilities Exterior Wall“ at Gimbo City (2012); „Apple tree“ at KOCEF (part of Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennale, 2016). His works are included in the collections of art museums in South Korea, India. He is delivering lectures at various universities in South Korea and also works as a studio artist in the fields of ceramics and installation.
