Born in 1954. Inese graduated from the Latvian Art Academy in 1978. She has participated in exhibitions and symposiums in Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom since 1977 and has also arranged several solo exhibition. Member of the Latvian Artists’ Union since 1989. The artist has won several awards such as Grand Prix of the Riga City Council at the exhibition Riga–800 (1999), Prize Rab of Rab municipality at the exhibition Ceramic Trophy Cup, Croatia (2002), Rudolf Voldemar Vītols Prize at the Latvian Miniature Art Exhibition (2002). Her works are included in the collections of Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian art museums. Since 1997 she is a head of the Porcelain painting studio at the Riga Children and Youth Creative Centre Laimite, since 1999 she is a Chairwoman of the Porcelain Painting Symposia at the Culture and Art Center of Latvian Artists` Union in Zvartava. The artist was a participant of the symposiums in 1994 and 2008.
