David L. Gamble

Born in 1952. David graduated from the Indiana State University, Terre Haute (MFA: Ceramics) and from the Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA (M.Ed. Art Education, 1977). He has participated in numerous exhibitions and symposiums in Europe and the USA, the artist has had a number of solo exhibitions since 1982. 1977–2006 he was a Vice President, Director of Marketing and Education of AMACO (American Art Clay Company), Brent Professional and Art Education divisions. He has published a number of articles and has been featured in books and publications. The artist has won several awards and honors: Editorial Advisory Board Pottery Making Illustrated, Glaze Storm in Tallinn, Estonia (2002), Judge of the Festival of the Masters in Walt Disney World in Florida, USA (1994). Currently, he lectures at the University of Indianapolis. He also conductes workshops in the USA and is a frequent instructor at arts and crafts schools.
David was a participant of the symposium in 2000.
